2009-2010 Season

BNTA is excited to announce its production season for 2009-2010 – all the work having never been seen in Las Vegas. The season starts with an original devised piece by Jo Cattell in collaboration with artists from Cirque du Soleil, then a brand new British panto of SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS, and the US premiere of Matt Charmans award winning play, A NIGHT AT THE DOGS.

After the unbelievable response to BNTAs 2008 production of CINDERELLA, BNTA saw a real need for alternative family entertainment in Las Vegas. Working with artists of international standing from Strip shows such as The Beatles LOVE, MYSTERE, LE REVE and JERSEY BOYS, BNTA strives to create original work for the local Las Vegas audience as well as providing the artists a creative outlet.

SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARVES
adapted by Jo Cattell & Richard Perkin
November 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th 2009
The Horn Theatre, CSN

Not the typical story of Snow White, indeed, the fair lass finds herself stuck in Las Vegas, stage manager to her evil, but very famous step-ma, Posh Nosh. Jealous of her stepdaughter's beauty and talent, the Posh Nosh hires a mafia hit man to rid herself of the fair singing Snow White. The hit man, unable to bring himself to do the deed, leaves Snow White in the capable 14 jazz hands of 7 dwarves who are more than willing to take care of her and have her headlining their show. However, it is only a matter of time until the evil Posh Nosh finds out that Snow White still lives. Determined to do the job properly herself, the Queen pursues the innocent Snow White to be rid of her once and for all so that she may claim that she is the “Fairest of them All” once again. This Las Vegas reworking of the traditional story continues BNTA's goal of making British Panto a Las Vegas tradition.
