Jo Cattell - Artistic Director

Jo is currently in New York directing DOWNTOWN, Manhattan Theatre Source, assistant directing BINGE for Shalimar productions and working with the literary department at The New Group. Previous to this she was based out of Las Vegas where she co-wrote and directed The British National Theatre of America’s inaugural show, CINDERELLA, worked as Acting Coach on Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles LOVE and wrote a puppet-show adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL for a non-profit theatre company, Cockroach Theatre, which was performed at the 180 conservation site, The Springs Preserve, and directed an outreach program.

In the UK, her work includes Project Manager for the Grassmarket Project on THE FOOLISH YOUNG MAN, The Roundhouse, London and BUS STOPS, Glasgow. She worked as Assistant Director at Pentabus Theatre on their hit production of Bryony Lavery’s PRECIOUS BANE. As director for the BBC, she created and co-wrote a sketch show with the Talent departments Sketch Team, for performance for BBC Radio 1’s Roadshow, having previously worked as Assistant Director for BBC on the Sketch Team initiative. She developed and directed SKYSCRAPING for performance at the Soho Theatre Studio, London, which then transferred to the Southwark Playhouse. Wrote, directed and produced DINGO QUEEN, Camden People’s Theatre, London. Directed the first digital art installation for Canterbury Cathedral, 18:1-7, produced by C2atelyst Productions. Assistant directed a staged reading of CALCULUS, Royal Institute, London, and AN IMMACULATE MISCONCEPTION, Bridewell Theatre, London, for Andy Jordan Productions.

Other work includes; Company Manager on the International tour of Fosse, Assistant to the Production Manager on CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG and BOMBAY DREAMS, London’s West End. Researcher for Sky 1 television documentaries with Michael Owen, David Beckham, Jamie Rednapp and Dwight Yorke. Jo’s other writing, PINK TOOTHBRUSH and CHOCOLATE CAKE FOR SEX, have also been performed as part of Thursday Night Live at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.


Rich Perkin - Executive Producer

Rich graduated from the University of Portland, an accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST), in 2001 with a B. A. in Technical Theatre and English. His accomplishments include a set design for LYSISTRATA, a lighting design for MUSICAL COMEDY MURDERS OF 1940, Stage Manager for TRANSLATIONS and WOYZECK, as well as appearing as Fabian in TWELFTH NIGHT and Jellaby in ARCADIA

Focusing on Technical Theatre, Rich worked for Bridge City Productions as Lead Carpenter on their production of ON THE VERGE, for Norwgian Cruise Lines as a Lighting Technician, Backstage Technician, Automation Technician and Technical Director, and for Holland America Cruise Lines as a Rigging Technician.

Rich joined Cirque Du Soleil in 2004 as an Automation Technician at the newly-opened ZUMANITY- ANOTHER SIDE OF CIRQUE DU SOLEIL. He joined The Beatles LOVE in 2005 as one of the automation programmers, and is currently one of the Lead Automation Technicians. He co-wrote CINDERELLA, BNTA's first production, with Jo Cattell, and is also a Production Assistant with CinemaWest Productions.


Rob Winch- Producer of Physical Theatre

Born in London, Rob trained as an Artistic gymnast at the East Midlands Gymnastics Centre in Nottingham. A member of the Great Britain National team and named Nottinghamshire junior sports personality of the year, he reached the pinnacle of his competitive career by winning the under 18 English National Championships in 1998.

Rob’s first experience of theatre was as an aerialist, acrobat and trampolinist in OVO at the Millennium Dome, London. He also performed in the Dome Opening Ceremony on Millennium night for the Queen, Prime Minister and 15000 guests. Other credits include, Linford Christie’s RECORD BREAKERS and REBUILD THE ROUNDHOUSE Cabaret. Following this, Rob went on Festivals European Vision Cruise Ship as a dancer, singer and speciality act, and was involved in the performances at the G8 summit in Italy. Other credits include: THE NATIONAL LOTTERY LIVE, BRITISH TELECOM BROADBAND TV commercial, Butlins Holiday Park, PETER PAN, Theatre Royal Nottingham, THE AMERICAN ADVENTURE STUNT SHOW, ALADDIN, The Assembly Rooms Derby, ALADDIN, Churchill Theatre Bromley.

After performing in ‘TARZAN’ LA RENCONTRE at Disney Land Paris for 2 years, Rob joined Cirque du Soleil in 2005 as part of the original cast for their new creation, The Beatles LOVE at the Mirage casino, Las Vegas, leading to other credits such as THE TONIGHT SHOW with Jay Leno and the 50th ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS. Rob is currently the acrobatic captain for LOVE.
