| Welcome |
The British National Theatre of America (BNTA) was formed in April 2008, when production began on its inaugural first show, CINDERELLA, a traditional British Pantomime. An overwhelming response to this first production confirmed to BNTA the need for off-strip theatre for the Las Vegas community.

The founders of the company, Robert Winch, Richard Perkin and Jo Cattell between them have a collective experience of working on the London’s West End, the Millennium Dome, for Disney, Cirque du Soleil, on Broadway shows, and international tours. This non-profit organisation is dedicated to producing cross-cultural theatre, both original work created with like-minded artists or premiers of British plays. The company’s mission is to engage, entertain and inspire through theatre with an inherently British accent. |

An intense black comedy, with sharp dialogue that keeps the temperature rising throughout. Fast paced, funny, yet brutally dark, A Night at the Dogs by 25 year old Matt Charman was chosen from over 700 submissions in Soho Theatre’s (UK) nationwide hunt for the best new play by a first-time playwright, the UK Verity Bargate Award 2004.
Two Englishmen, Charlie and Froggy, arrive at a fishing lodge in rural Georgia. Charlie, unbearably shy, is petrified at the thought of being left with strangers with whom he may have to converse and as a means of resolving this problem, Froggy concocts a cover story for Charlie, stating that he is a Foreigner from an exotic land with no understanding of English. Farcical fun ensues as the other unsuspecting characters speak freely of theirsecrets in front of Charlie, into a hysterical climax where good overcomes all, including the Ku Klux Klan.
